This month, we’re empowering you to go global with multi-language support for Giving Forms. As well, a few ease-of-use and accessibility improvements were released this month.
The text of the Giving Form is now completely customizable. You can edit a single phrase or add multiple languages to a form to localize campaigns for audiences around the world—or in your own neighborhood.
Developers can edit phrases and add multiple languages to the form through the configuration script. Learn more at our developer docs.
To increase clarity, the advance buttons on Giving Forms will now simply say,
Next. Thanks to our community (and donors) for this feedback!
In our continuing effort to improve the accessibility of Funraise’s tools, we’ve released new accessibility improvements to Campaign Sites focused on improving descriptions for links and the ability to tab through menu items.
The Form Allocation Id can now be easily accessed from the form editor. This Id can be used with a donation launch button to default the popup form with a specific allocation selected. This feature already existed, but with a more accessible Id, we hope more organizations can take advantage of this tool. Learn more at our developer docs.
Soon, you’ll be able to require fundraisers to raise a specific amount and then charge their payment method for any remaining amount they were not able to raise through their page.
Currently, donors can manage their donations and access yearly donation summaries in Funraise’s Giving Portal App. Donors will soon be able to edit their recurring subscription details and payment methods in the Giving Portal App.
Funraise will be implementing a Donors Cover Fees model this year. This update will guarantee an effective Platform Transaction Fee rate of 0% for qualified transactions.
