# Update supporter id on existing transactions

Does anyone know if it’s possible to change the supporter associated with an existing transaction using the import tool? I’m trying to mass update the supporter ids on a set of transactions using the transaction import tool (set to update existing records). I keep getting the error shown in the attached photo, which doesn’t make sense since I’m not adding any subscription info and the supporter ids used are pulled straight from Funraise. I’ve tried importing a file and just copy and pasting the data directly into the tool. Thanks in advance for any help!

It is not possible to change the Supporter attached to a Transaction using the import tool.

I’ve alerted our technical team to the unexpected error alert that you received in this case, thank you for sharing that!
