# Salesforce mapping with formulas

Have you used formulas to map values into salesforce? Or what other method have you used to transform Funraise data on the way into Salesforce?
We are attempting to map Payment Method, Program Area to GAUs, Campaigns, custom opportunity fields.

Hi Rachael!
The best way to transform Funraise data in Salesforce would be to map the incoming Funraise data to a custom field, and then you can use any formulas, workflow rules, process builder, or other Salesforce automations to transform that data into the format and fields you want.
